This past Saturday the first #140Conf in Kenya was held at the Onami Sushi bar at Nakumatt Westgate. The event aims to explore the use of Twitter within organizations/corporations and how to leverage twitter for business (marketing, branding, promoting products etc).

The event was very well attended (and very well organized as well – kudos to @majiwater, @wanyama & @mkaigwa). Top Kenyan tweeps were present including @alykhansatchu, @larrymadowo and many others.
