The last three days Google held it’s GKenya event that ended up being a big success. Monday was dedicated to CS students and student developers, Tuesday was the most practical of the three day event for developers who got to attend labs and learn Google technology hands on. And the last day (Wednesday) was largely dedicated to entrepreneurs and marketers. It’s evident that Google was intent on not missing any one audience.

The last session of the last day was of particular interest as a panel of tech entrepreneurs sat to share their experiences with the audience. The VC/entrepreneur panel was by far the most interesting part of the day as these individuals talked about their beginnings, the mistakes they made, their successes and future aspirations for the burgeoning tech enterprise environment in Kenya.
