WebPR for Professionals is the name of the 4-week distance-based course offered by Quirk eMarketing. After its successful launch in April earlier this year, we have decided to run another presentation of the course commencing on the 4th October 2010.
Designed for professionals with a working knowledge of PR and communications, this course will teach students how to harness the power of the Internet and get people talking about their brand. The influence of word of mouth is undeniable and consumers are increasingly placing their trust in “people like me” when it comes to advice on what products and services to use. And as more consumers are logging onto the Internet every day, as a brand you want to be in these online spaces building awareness, driving the influence and engaging in conversation.
The WebPR for Professionals course is broken up into four weekly modules which cover the following:
- How to Write for the Web
- Online Distribution
- Managing a Brand’s Online Reputation
- Goal Setting and Measurement
The course is presented online and is conducted via the Quirk Learning Centre, which is a platform designed to facilitate interaction between students and their lecturers. From here the students will be able to download their course notes and submit weekly assignments, watch online videos and participate in live chat rooms and discussions on the forum.
